Reset Windows NT Version 1.00 This program was created to facilitate a Windows NT power user performing the following operations while using Microsoft Windows NT; 1) logging out, 2) shutting down, and 3) shutting down and restarting. These functions are performed through program execution once the operator has selected the appropriate reset method. Resetting may be done unconditionally or after verification through an "are you sure?" dialog box. The program may also be activated with the "Stay On Top" option. Use of this option will place "Reset Windows NT" over all other executing applications. This program should be run from your startup group so that the user may easily perform the reset operations. This program always exists in minimized form and shows the operator the current reset method by varying the icon and its assiciated text appropriately. The operator performs all user input through the control menu and may use pre-defined accelerator keys. The only exception to this is to activate the Reset Windows NT function. Here, the right mouse button may be used. Note that users familiar with Reset Windows (16-bit edition) by this same author will find that Reset Windows NT functions almost identically. - Fred Losi, Programmer CompuServe - 74444,3527 America Online - FLosi
